The house is a beautiful and cozy private space with lovely amenities. Virginia is a responsive and friendly host that made booking and check-in a breeze. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I have had. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely incredible romantic stay at this beautiful water front home. The location could not have been more prefect - right on the beach with peaceful water views from nearly every window. The house itself is stunning and immaculately clean, with thoughtful touches throughout.
We especially loved the nautical - themed home theater - cosy, charming, and perfect for movie nights. The game room kept us entertained for hours, and the sauna and hot tub were such relaxing bonus after a day by the water. The hosts thought of everything, from well- stocked amenities to local recommendations.
This property truly feels like a dream getaway - equal parts comfort and luxury with all the best parts of the water just steps away. We made some wonderful memories and cannot wait to come back!

This was such an amazing, beautiful & sweet place to have a vacation. Virginia was an amazing host, super responsive. The tiny details really added to the stay. We really felt right at home. My partner proposed to me on this trip & it just made for the perfect spot to celebrate our engagement.

Hands down the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in! From the beautiful space to the little details, this place is absolutely perfect. I was in town alone for a busy work trip and was so relieved every time I walked through the door. The stress just melted away! I will absolutely seek this place out every time I’m in Seattle!

From first walking in to the beautiful home we were welcomed with thoughtful items on the counter. The view was better than expected and we spent some time watching the water - we saw two otters, a bald eagle and seals! The hot tub was lovely and relaxing and you can’t beat the view with that. We enjoyed the theater, watched a couple movies and made popcorn in the machine. Also there was movie candy waiting for us ! A lot of thoughtful touches , we loved it and would highly recommend this place. Will be back!

Amazing location, and every detail is thoughtfully taken care of from flip flops for the hot tub to popcorn for the movie theater. Our teens loved the house and we would absolutely want to come back. More beautiful and peaceful than the pictures can do justice to!

The cabin was absolutely incredible! Such beautiful views, I got to see seals, bald eagles and hawks right from the hot tub overlooking the water. The master had a gorgeous view, kitchen and dining room were so tasteful and movie/game rooms added extra fun. Such a cozy spot with thoughtful touches, it made for the perfect quiet getaway. Virginia was super kind and accommodating, very communicative. A little off the beaten path depending on where you’re traveling from, and no uber or Lyft in the area, but there is a taxi company if you don’t rent a car. Highly recommended, would definitely stay again!

One of the favorites of places we’ve stayed by far! Virginia and Brian were amazing hosts and the carriage house is absolutely gorgeous. It was comfortable and peaceful. We did walk the neighborhood at night and found some of the great recommendations Virginia supplied. We were pleasantly surprised by the closet with pillow options from soft to firm. They did an outstanding job and we would definitely go back.

Very charming and cozy cabin with large picture windows to look out over Discovery Bay. The hosts were excellent and friendly. We really enjoyed the sauna and the cold plunge into the Bay. Would love to come back in the spring or summer to use the kayaks. Brian and Victoria definitely thought of everything, and it shows in the special touches throughout the house. Thank you.

I highly recommend the cozy and cute Earl Carriage House. A stay at this cottage across the driveway from Virginia and Brian's home brings the added feature of off-street parking — a huge benefit in this quiet neighborhood. And we appreciated the bins to sort for recycling, composting and garbage.
Everything we needed for our 3-night stay was available. We prepared and ate three dinners in the cottage because the kitchen features a nice stove and a solid assortment of pots, pans, plates and cutlery. There is also a diminutive yet effective dishwasher.
The Earl Carriage House is a getaway for two and enough space for two folks who sleep together, as there is not another bed. There is a modern washer/dryer upstairs off the bathroom.
There are also a number of nice touches throughout, including a repurposed hardwood antique bathroom door. We also appreciated the regional chocolate treats and a bag of USDA-certified organic whole bean coffee from Discovery Bay Coffee Co.
